Glen Turbyfill Life Story

Glen was a remarkable man whose faith in Christ carried him through decades of health trials. He passed away April 10, 2018 at home. He was born in Fayetteville Arkansas June 8, 1941. He grew up in Springdale Arkansas. He moved to Abilene Texas where he earned a BBA at Hardin-Simmons University. He later worked in the computer industry in Houston & Dallas. He earned numerous achievement awards in computer programming, sales and management. He married Sandra Bennett in 1980. They enjoyed the first 19 years together in Dallas but their favorite years were spent living in Sheridan, Wyoming.


He had a great love for nature and wildlife. He expressed his creative side through painting, woodworking, gardening and making miniature models.


He is survived by his wife, Sandra, daughters Michelle and Diane, sons Scott and Seth , his sister, Gwen, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Children’s Medical Centers of Dallas.
