Robert Theodore Garcia

The hard working hands of Mr Robert Garcia, age 57, came to rest on December 23, 2017. He will be remembered as a family man that always took care of his family.

Robert was born in San Antonio, Texas to Raul and Maria Garcia. Robert married Patricia Garcia on April 19, 1980 and together they raised their three beloved children. Robert was a masonry construction foreman. He was known for his excellent work ethic. An avid Cowboy fan, Robert was always cheering on the Boys even in the tough years. Robert loved being a grandpa and spending lots of time with his grandchildren. Robert was a foodie and could often times be found grilling out for his family and friends. He was known for his tender briskets. His children and grandkids also loved his omelets he made for them on the weekend. Robert also enjoyed traveling to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, Chicago, Las Vegas and San Francisco. He liked to visit his home town of San Antonio and listening to Tejano music.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Patrica Garcia; his devoted children Robert T. Garcia. Jr. and his wife Celena Garcia, Leticia M. Garcia, and Jesse Garcia and his wife Ana K. Garcia; his beloved grandchildren Elisa Garcia, Robert T. Garcia III, Isaiah Garcia, Jesse J. Garcia, Jr., Benjamin Garcia, Abel Garcia and one on the way; his brother Raul Garcia; and his sisters Rosa Herrera and Rachel Garcia.

He was preceded in death by his parents Raul and Maria Garcia and his brother, Richard Garcia.

Public Viewing will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hughes Family Tribute Center with the rosary being recited at 6 pm. After the rosary will be a time to share your favorite stories about Robert. Services for Mr Robert Garcia will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017, at 10:00 AM at Hughes Family Tribute Center. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas after a drive by his home.
