Steven Jessie Calvillo

Steven Jessie Calvillo, loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 in Irving, Texas, two days before his 51st birthday. Steven was born in Dallas, Texas on January 10, 1967 to Steven E. Calvillo and Maria Anita Gonzales. Some of his greatest passions included sports teams like the Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, and the Texas Rangers, but the Dallas Cowboys were his number one team. He enjoyed hitting up the casinos to play 3-card poker or the slot machines, and he liked to play 8-ball or 9-ball pool. Steven traveled to Las Vegas many times, including a trip to play in a pool tournament. He enjoyed eating banana pudding and Almond Joys, especially while listening to his favorite Tejano or country music. Steven played soccer and was known for his great, warm smile. Above all his passions in life, Steven’s greatest passion was for his family, including being with his loving wife of 4 years, 16 years together, Maria Calvillo. Steven deeply loved his five children, Dolores Ana Bustamante, Steven Marcus Calvillo, Stephanie Marie Calvillo, Ebony Calvillo, and Bianca Nicole Garcia, as well as his eight grandchildren. Steven Jessie Calvillo will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all who knew him.

Steven Jessie Calvillo is survived by his wife, Maria Calvillo; his children, Dolores Ana Bustamante, Steven Marcus Calvillo, Stephanie Marie Calvillo, Ebony Calvillo, and Bianca Nicole Garcia; his eight grandchildren; his parents, Steven Easter Calvillo and Maria Anita Gonzales; his siblings, Gilbert Calvillo, Silva Gonzalez, and Pete Calvillo; and many friends.

A visitation in honor of Mr. Steven Jessie Calvillo will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hughes Family Tribute Center. The funeral service for Mr. Steven Jessie Calvillo will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Hughes Family Tribute Center. Mr. Steven Calvillo will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Memorial Park immediately following the funeral service.
