Alexis Soriano Life Story

In just 21 years, Alex Soriano lived a life full of love and adventure.  Alex was born on February 17, 2001, in Dallas Texas to his loving parents, Evelyn and Enrique Soriano.  He was such a sweet baby and he filled their lives with love.  When his sister Leslie arrived, love continued to grow, and Alex was a great big brother.  Alex’s easy-going attitude and caring heart attracted people to him, and he always had a great set of friends to have fun with and to get in trouble with.  Alex graduated from Clearview High school.  Alex was exceedingly smart and a talented musician.  After high school, Alex attended UT Arlington, studying pre-med and planned to be an anesthesiologist.   While attending high school he had his eye on a sweet, beautiful girl named Hannah.  Their hearts and souls just seemed to know each other.  During their senior year Hannah and Alex were inseparable.   Their love was something special that not everyone gets to experience.  They loved to do everything together, but their favorite adventure was hiking and paddle boarding in Dillon, Colorado.   Just one week after to his cancer diagnosis, Hannah and Alex learned that a baby would be arriving soon.   Although it seemed overwhelming at the time, God knew exactly what was needed.  Mateo brought even more love to their relationship and their family.  Hannah recalls looking over at Alex right after Mateo was born and saw him beaming with love for their little boy.  During the next 10 months, Alex would love and play with Mateo.  In July, Hannah decided she was ready to get married.  Alex was so excited.  Although he knew her answer would be yes, Alex was visibly nervous as he dropped to one knee to ask Hannah, the love of his life, to marry him.  In just one week they planned a beautiful wedding with lots of love and joy.  Alex loved being a husband and a father.  Alex fought cancer with great attitude and his favorite bible verse sustained him throughout his battle.  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  Philippians 4:13.    On August 30, 2022, Alex received complete healing by God in Heaven.  Although we prayed that Alex could stay on Earth, we trust God.  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.  Romans 8:28.  We may never know why this side of Heaven but we will trust God.  With all our hearts, we know we will be reunited in Heaven someday and what a beautiful reunion that will be.

Alex joins in Heaven, his baby sister Evelyn Soriano and grandfather Armando Nava.  He leaves behind his wife Hannah Hinojosa; son Mateo Soriano; parents Evelyn and Enrique Soriano; sister Leslie Soriano; grandparents, Anselmo Soriano, Lidia Puente, Leonor Ramirez and Natividad Ramirez; Hannah’s family; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Alex will be missed every second of every day, but we will tell his stories to Mateo and raise Mateo to love God.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
