Barbara Ann (Brenneman) Giles Harrell, age 90, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 10, 2026. She was born on July 28, 1935, in Cumberland, Maryland, to Howard Robinson Brenneman and Hyasin Margarette (Hiser) Brenneman.
Barbara is survived by her three children: Debbie Richardson Clipper, Eddie Richardson, and Rhonda Carlisle. She was blessed with ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, George Giles and Joe Harrell; and her grandson, Zachary Dean.
Barbara retired from Baylor Hospital in 1997 and later devoted many years volunteering at the American Legion and when she wasn't volunteering, she enjoyed dancing the night away. She loved her church and her church family at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Her kindness, steady presence, and generous spirit touched everyone who knew her. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
A private burial will be held on January 23, 2026, at Grove Hill Cemetery.
