Life Story
Benito Salinas, 76, beloved father and brother was called to his eternal resting place on November 21, 2020. He entered this world on November 13, 1944, in Dallas, TX born to Servando and Elvira Salinas. He was one of four siblings. He was always close to his brothers and sister. Ben joined the Navy and became a Navy SEAL. He proudly served his country in Vietnam and earned top security clearance. After he left the Navy, he became an air conditioning specialist where his security clearance allowed him to continue to service as an air condition specialist on military bases. Besides his love of country, what he cherished most were his four children, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren In his spare time he liked to fish and play golf.
He is survived by his children, Anastasia Salinas, Elvira Salinas-Acevedo, Benito Salinas, Jr., and Christina Salinas-Whichard; grandchildren Anthony Ray Salinas, Elizabeth Salinas, Billy Salinas Martinez, Sablee Acevedo-Foley, Gabriella Martinez-Elizondol, ferric Brown, Dorkoryan Whichard, Lawrence Graves, and Nicholas Acevedo, great grandchilden Elijah Manuel Santoyo, Ryker Wayne Foley, Gabriel Maximus Elizondo, Lilianie Marie Martinez, and Malachi Brown; brother Raymond Salinas; and sister, Helen Davila. He joins in heaven his parents and his brother, Ricardo Salinas.
Ben will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
