Benjamin Michael Whitehead

Benjamin Michael Whitehead was born December 31, 1940 in Dallas, Texas. He served his country both in the Navy and in the Air Force. He also served in law enforcement for many years. He was called home by Jesus on October 24, 2022.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Ima Jean Freeman Whitehead and his father, Benjamin Whitehead, his grandparents and his daughters, Kimberly Roberts and Kellie Eller.

He is survived by his children, Kyle Whitehead and family, Jana Dunn and family and Alan Allen and family. His grandchildren, Josh Nunley and family, Brandy Sprague and family, Camille Lake and family and Jamie Eller. His sister, Patricia Williams and his brother in law, Chris Williams. His devoted nieces, Gina Cowger and Amber Williams and his nephew, Scot Cowger and his wife, Amy and sons, Jacob and Joshua.

The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown to them by so many. They are especially grateful to New Century Hospice for their constant care and kindness. Thank you.
