Betty Kathryn (Hart) Palmer

Betty Palmer, age 91, passed away peacefully at home with her children by her side. Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert T Palmer Jr. She is survived by her three children, Philip Palmer and his wife Rosemary, Catherine Nichol, and Paul Palmer; five grandchildren, Amanda and her husband Jimmy, Lee and his wife Mary, Eric and his wife Sarah, Tim and his wife Danielle, and Landon; and seven great-grandchildren.
As a devoted mother and grandmother, Betty was the cornerstone of the family. Her greatest joy was when the family came together. Her devotion was evident in the interest she took in each of the lives of the family.
It is a daunting task to sum up Betty's life in such few words. She was known for her love of nature and animals, her generosity, and her unconditional love for all.
Funeral services are to be held on Monday, March 15 at 11:00 AM with limited capacity due to COVID restrictions at St. Philip's United Methodist Church in Garland, TX. Interment is to follow at Southland Memorial Park in Grand Prairie, TX.
