Bhanoji Vijapurapu Life Story

Bhanoji's passing away is a tragic loss to wife, two sons, three brothers, three sisters and to the whole extended family of daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grand children and great grandchildren in the family tree of mother Susarla Kamala Savithri and father Vijapurapu Lakshmi Narayana Rao.

Bhanoji was in the hospital for three weeks and on his road to recovery, but he suffered another tragic massive heart attack. The family was hoping that they will somehow see light at the end of the tunnel.

But fate was not in favor and Bhanoji left the family in darkness and with empty hearts.

Bhanoji was born on December 31st, 1959. He was a gentle soul radiating warmth and pleasant in interactions, but was rock solid when it came to supporting his family and taking care of them. For him, his well being was secondary to the well being, care, and comfort of his family and the education of their two sons Arun & Anish. Bhanoji worked at Union Bank of India and went wherever his job took him from small towns to big cities all over India, often away from family, living by himself sometimes so that their children's education was not impacted. Padma (Bhanoji's wife) took care of her mother-in-law and stayed with the children while Bhanoji was away. She supported him passionately and with all her heart.

Bhanoji 's gentle nature and his presence itself made any occasion a pleasant experience. His off beat comments used to bring smile and laughter to any gathering. He is popular with the extended family and his colleagues.

He always supported his sons wholeheartedly no matter whatever endeavors they took on and with no strings attached. He did not want anything in return other than their personal and professional success. These efforts paid off. His older son, Arun, completed masters in the USA and is settled in Dallas, Texas with his wonderful wife Bhavna. His second son Anish finished masters in UK and is well settled in Hyderabad. He is now engaged to be married to his beautiful fiancé, Vaidehi.

It is heart wrenching that Bhanoji's life has been cut short at the prime time of enjoying his retirement and spending relaxed life with family and extended family, but it was clear that he was happy that his hard work paid off, and his family was grateful for his unwavering support all his life. When asked how he felt while on the hospital bed, his comment always was that he felt good (హాయీగా ఉన్నాను).

May his kindness, infectious zest for life and adventure, and courage live on and be an inspiration to everyone that knew him.

The whole family misses him dearly, but he will live in their hearts forever.

With a gentle smile
and sparkling eyes
there he sits watching
with a quiet strength
that is only his.

A man of few words
with big dreams for
those he loved.

A devoted son,
a loving husband,
a proud, patient and understanding father
who showered un conditional love
on his boys.
A friend, comrade,
brother - a co - conspirator
in mischief making..
so I'm told
through his boyhood tales.

Let's celebrate his strength,
his courage, his love for adventure,
his love for life.

Let's harness his quiet energy,
feel his gentle presence and
give thanks to him
and the Almighty
for the time we were blessed with him.

Let his thoughts put
a smile on our faces.
Let his words guide us
through the phases
of our life.
Let us all learn and live
like he did.
Simple, happy, kind
and gentle.
