Billy Jordan, age 68, was born on March 25, 1957, in Pittsburg, Texas, to Sammie George Jordan and Savannah Jordan. He lived a life grounded in faith, service, and love for his family, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Billy's greatest passion was his faith and devotion to the Bible. He was a man who openly shared his beliefs, always willing to witness to others and offer encouragement through the scriptures. Those closest to him knew that Billy had a verse for every occasion and biblical guidance ready whenever it was needed. His faith was not only something he spoke about-it was something he lived daily.
Beyond his spiritual life, Billy found great joy in the outdoors. He loved camping, fishing, and spending time surrounded by nature. These moments brought him peace and fulfillment and were often shared with family and friends.
Billy spent his career as a crane operator with U.S. Steel, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He took pride in his work and provided faithfully for his family throughout his career.
Billy was preceded in death by his father, Sammie George Jordan; his mother, Savannah Jordan; his brother, George Jordan; and his son, Tadrian Jordan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Dorthy Jordan; his sons, Qua Jordan, Dustin Jordan (Abi), and Bryan Jordan (Marie); his brothers, Robert Jordan (Roxanne), Terry Jordan (Evelyn), and Roy Clarence Jordan; his sisters, Dorothy Jordan, Bernice Wallace, Margaree Davis (Carl), Mozell Parnell, and Daphne McKinsey; as well as two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom were a tremendous source of pride and joy in his life.
Billy Jordan will be remembered as a faithful servant of Jehovah God, a devoted husband and father, and a man who never hesitated to share his hope, wisdom, and scriptures with those around him. His legacy of faith and love will continue through the many lives he touched.
