Carole "Jill" Lynch Life Story

Carole Ann Lynch (Oberlin) 86 of Dallas, TX, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2023. She was affectionally known by everyone as "Jill" and was born on January 8, 1937 in Evanston, Illinois. Jill is survived by her five children James, Diane, Paul, Kathleen, and Carol, as well as her nine grandchildren Clayton, Carolyn, Jillian, Megan, Connor, John, Jack, Mark, and Miki. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ed.

Jill was a vibrant and adventurous woman who will be remembered for her infectious smile, love for travel and devotion to her family. She and her late husband Ed traveled the world, and they enjoyed cruising during their later years in life. Florida was always a special destination, and a place filled with countless memories of family and friends.

Everyone who knew Jill would agree that she had boundless energy, was never content to sit still, and she always lit up the room. Tennis was one of her lifelong passions, and she loved cycling, walking, reading and playing cards. She was also a fabulous cook who studied dietetics at Loretto Heights College in Colorado where she first met her husband-to-be Ed on the slopes.

Everyone who remembers Jill is asked to celebrate her life in their own way, perhaps by raising a glass, taking a trip, or simply spending a little extra time with your loved ones.

Jill's spirit of adventure and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Private family services will be scheduled, and may she rest in peace.
