Champa Mishra, who peacefully departed on January 14, 2026, surrounded by her family.Champa Ji was the very definition of love, strength, and selflessness. A devoted daughter with a courageous fighting spirit, she lived her life guided by kindness and good karma-always giving to others and never expecting anything in return. She cared for so many people throughout her life, and she did it with warmth, grace, and a smile that brought comfort to everyone around her.Even in her later years, she remained remarkably fit, independent, and active. She was blessed to live without many of the usual hardships of old age, and she often expressed one simple wish: that she should never become dependent on anyone. By God's grace, her wish was fulfilled-she lived with dignity and independence until the very end, and she departed peacefully without pain.She left this world on the highly auspicious day of Makar Sankranti, a sacred occasion in Hindu tradition symbolizing spiritual transition and liberation. We take comfort in believing that she has attained moksha, and has moved onward to a higher, peaceful abode-free from the cycle of birth and rebirth.Champa Ji was an extraordinary mother, wife, grandmother, teacher, and businesswoman, but above all, she was a truly kind human being whose values, love, and blessings will continue to guide our family forever. Her presence was a gift, and her memories will remain deeply cherished in our hearts.
