Dawson was a beautiful, bright light in this world whose life, though far too short, left an everlasting imprint on everyone who had the honor of loving him.
Born on December 26, 2021, Dawson was full of personality from the very beginning. He was funny, curious, and already had a strong sense of who he was. He knew what he liked, what he didn’t, and he wasn’t afraid to let you know. Dawson was completely velcroed to his daddy’s hip. The bond they shared was deep, natural, and unbreakable. Wherever his daddy went, Dawson was right there—watching, following, loving him with his whole heart.
He adored his sissy, Harper Jade, and while he loved her fiercely, he also loved to blame everything on her. “Sissy did it” is what he said for anything he did wrong. That mischievous smile usually gave him away.
Dawson passed away on December 7, 2025, at 10:42 a.m. Though our hearts ache with the weight of his absence, we hold tightly to the love he gave so freely and the memories that will never fade.
He was deeply loved by his father, Dahrian Zamora; his sister, Harper Jade; his Yaya, Val Abdoo; and by aunts and uncles and a slew of cousins—too many to mention—who adored him deeply. Dawson’s life changed the lives of everyone who knew him.
His story does not end here. His impact, his love, and his legacy will live on through those who love him and through the justice being sought in his name.
