Eduardo "Lalo" Valenzuela Jr., known for his resilience and artistic spirit, peacefully passed away on June 26, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He faced numerous health challenges throughout his life with unwavering determination.
Lalo was born in Dallas to Ernestina and Eduardo Valenzuela, growing up happily with his siblings in a loving home. Family meant everything to Lalo, and he cherished his time with them dearly. He completed his education at A+ Academy in Dallas, where his artistic talents began to flourish. Lalo had a passion for drawing and spent much of his free time creating art.
Among his many interests, Lalo was an avid gamer, particularly enjoying Nintendo games like Fortnite, Roblox, and Super Mario, often playing with his nieces and nephews. He also had a collection of Funko Pops, with favorites from Marvel and Metallica, showcasing his eclectic tastes.
Music was another of Lalo's passions, spanning genres and eras, but he especially loved artists like Johnny Cash and Metallica. His enthusiasm for life was infectious, especially with his nieces and nephews, who were naturally drawn to him. They bonded over video games and shared favorite snacks like Sour Patch Kids, Twix, Hot Cheetos, and Hot Fries.
For special occasions, Lalo enjoyed dining out, with a great steak at Texas Roadhouse being a favorite treat. Family road trips were a source of joy, always including a stop at Buc-ee's for snacks and fun items, reflecting Lalo's zest for life and his love for his family's company.
Lalo is survived by his devoted parents Eduardo and Ernestina Valenzuela, siblings Jessica, Adriana and Isaac and nieces and nephews Allison, Noah, Madeleine, Violetta and Izel. He joins in heaven his grandparents.
Eduardo "Lalo" Valenzuela Jr. leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and resilience, forever cherished by his family and all who knew him. His memory will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
