Estefana Herrera Life Story

Estefana Herrera Razo, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Known to many as “Concha,” she led a life full of love, hard work, and faith. Concha had a passion for flowers, especially red roses. For many years, she was a successful business owner of a motel and flower shop in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. While living in Piedras Negras, Concha met and married her husband, Frank V. Fira. Together they moved to Ennis, Texas and built a business named Frank’s Taxi and a record shop until Frank’s passing in 1979. Despite losing her husband and business partner, Concha continued running Frank’s Taxi until the late 90’s. Aside from work, Concha had many passions in her life. She loved to watch her Spanish novelas and play Lotería, which she won quite frequently. Concha loved to laugh and spend time with her family. However, the greatest passion in her life was her faith. Concha always faithfully prayed her rosary every night before she went to bed. Her life, love, faith, and hard work impacted and blessed so many in her life. Concha was deeply loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Concha Herrera Razo is survived by her son, Frank Herrera Fira, Jr. and his wife, Teresa Fira; her “extra” son, Victor Manuel Herrera; her grandsons Adrian Nicholas Fira, Gilbert Anthony Guevara, and Frank R. Fira; her granddaughter, Yasmine Dawn Fira, Selena Estrada and her husband, Jose Luis Estrada, Alexandria Sulema Fira, and Mariah Marie Fira; her great-grandsons Liam Angel Gaspar Fira and Jay Emilio Estrada; her great-granddaughters, Kylee Rose Estrada, Mila Jade Martinez, Avangelina Dawn Izaguirre, and Aria Marie Izaguirre; her sister, Maria De Luz Herrera Campos; and many other relatives and friends. Concha is preceded in death by her husband, Frank V. Fira; her brothers, Felix Herrera Razo, Jose Angel Herrera Razo, and Enrique Herrera Razo; and her sisters, Martha Herrera Razo, Carmen Herrera Razo, Maria Del Socorro Herrera Razo, and Elida Herrera Razo.
