Ivy Hannah Conway passed peacefully in the arms of family on January 3rd, 2024 in Grand Prairie, Texas. She was born on December 18th, 2022 in Dallas, Texas with a rare neurological condition called Hydranencephaly. She is survived by her loving parents, Ashleigh & Alan Conway and her siblings Elizabeth, Rosalie, and Michael, and extended family and cherished church family. Additionally she was adored by her loving birth family Jayla Leaks, a big sister, and grandparents.
Ivy was a sweet little girl who loved to be held close. Her precious little coos, sweet giant yawns, adorable aggressive sneezes, and cute little chin dimple brought many smiles to those who spent time with her. Originally given 5 days to 4 weeks to live, she far exceeded any doctor speculations on life expectancy. She saw the zoo, a football game, family vacations, Christmas lights, and more. She celebrated with so many at an early birthday party. She lived to see her first birthday and a new year before passing so peacefully in a loved ones arms.
The family would like to thank those who fought for her and made her time here on earth as great as it could be for this little angel including her Guardian Ad Litem Yesenia Arevalo and her CASA Vriana Washington. Also a big thank you to the nurses who took such selfless care of her and loved her so well, Lovelyn and Adrianne. She was loved fiercely by all who knew her during her short time here on earth and now resides in the presence of her loving savior Jesus Christ. A memorial service will be held at Matthew Road Baptist Church on January 13th, 2024 at 11am. Ivy is buried at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens.
