Growing up in a loving family, Jeanna shared a special bond with her three brothers, who were a constant source of joy and support throughout her life. Her relationship with her mother, Lucy, was particularly close, serving as an anchor during both the happiest and most challenging times. The loss of her mother was a difficult period for Jeanna, but she found solace and strength in the unwavering love of her family, devoted husband, and children.
Jeanna's love story was a tale of fate and destiny. Through the wonders of technology, she met Tomas Martinez online while he resided in Mexico. Their connection transcended borders, leading them to meet in person. It was love at first sight, and they embarked on a journey together, sharing 21 beautiful years of marriage. As a united force, they raised their two children, Yazmin Martinez and Tomas Martinez Jr. Jeanna's devotion to her children knew no bounds, as they were the center of her universe. Her role as a mother brought her immense joy, and she treasured every moment spent with her precious kids.
For 19 years, she and Tomas resided in Nevada, where Jeanna showcased her exceptional talent as a paralegal. Her keen intellect and dedication shone through her work, earning her the admiration and respect of colleagues. Upon returning to Dallas, Jeanna made the heartfelt decision to stay at home and focus on her children's upbringing. Her bond with her son remained unbreakable, as they shared countless adventures to parks and libraries, engaging in spirited games of Uno and Monopoly. Water balloon fights brought them laughter and created memories that would be cherished forever. Jeanna's love for technology manifested in her attachment to her phone and social media. She enjoyed keeping up with loved ones and sharing moments of her life with friends. As an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, she passionately cheered for her team, displaying unwavering loyalty.
In her leisure time, Jeanna found joy in television entertainment, eagerly following shows like "Wheel of Fortune" and "Family Feud." Casinos held a special place in her heart, with the "Twin Sister" slot machine being a favorite pastime. Her infectious laughter and excitement brightened those around her. Jeanna was known for her signature saying, "Momma said." Her words of wisdom and guidance resonated with those around her, offering comfort and guidance when needed. Indulging in her sweet tooth, she savored treats like Rocky Road Blue Bell Ice Cream and Little Debbie Swiss Rolls, with Big Red soda adding an extra touch of delight. Even while living in Nevada, her family would lovingly ship her these cherished indulgences.
