Jesus Martinez Life Story

Jesus Martinez, of San Jose de Raices, Nuevo León, MX, was born on May 25, 1955 to Jesus Martinez and Leonila Flores.

Jesus was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and father-in-law whom is survived by his wife, Rosita; son, Jesus Alberto; daughters, Rosita and Magali; step-son, Francisco; grandsons Jonathan, Paul, Jesus, James, Anthony, and Levi; granddaughters: Elizabeth, Jiselle and Arianna; granddaughter-in-law, Michelle; grand-fur babies, Argo, Bailey, Penny, and Ace; great-grandson, Dean; son-in-laws, Ampelio and Heriberto and daughter-in-law, Sthefany.

Jesus was the oldest in his family therefore worked from a very young age as a bus driver in Mexico to help provide for his younger siblings. He moved to the United States shortly after marrying his wife in hopes of providing better opportunities for his future family. He worked his way from working maintenance at a warehouse to becoming a CDL truck driver. He loved the road and the scenery that comes with it.

Jesus was very reserved but those that were fortunate to know and get close to him, knew him as a goofy and kindhearted man. He knew how to party among friends and family. He loved to work on vehicles and if he wasn’t doing that, he was watching the Dallas Cowboys play.

The visitation is from 2 to 4 pm followed by a mass at 4 pm on December 4th at Hughes Family Tribute Center, 9700 Webb Chapel Rd., Dallas, TX 75220.
