Jimmy Herrera, 56, unexpectedly passed away on February 2, 2023. He entered this world on August 7, 1966 in Dallas, Tx to Jimmy Herrera, Sr. and Sheila Wilson Herrera. Jimmy, better known as Chio, was known for his compassion and for being a great Listener. Chio loved his family and cherished the memories he could make with his children. Chio in his younger days loved swimming, boating, fishing, watching all kinds of sports, rock & roll and fast cars, especially Chevelles. Chio loved working along side his dad and missed him every day since his death.
Chio is survived by his children Jinny, Chasity and Julian Villarreal; his sister Melinda Herrera Salinas and her husband Joe Salinas; his brother Joseph Herrera; his grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He joins in heaven, his parents Jimmy Herrera, Sr. and Sheila Wilson Herrera and his sister, Roxanne Herrera.
Visitation will be held from noon to 3 on Friday, February 10, 2023 with a time of sharing about 2 pm. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
Although Chio will be dearly missed, the family takes great comfort knowing he has been reunited with his dad, mom and sister.
