JoAnn Davila was born on May 19, 1964 in Marlin, Texas. She departed this life on August 21, 2021 after a five-month illness at the age of 57 years.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Manuel Davila, her Mother, Timotea Davila, Brothers, Ernest Davila and Armando Davila, Sister, Marta Davila, and Nephew, Stephen James Davila.
JoAnn accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized shortly thereafter. She was a long time member of First Spanish Assembly of God Church ("La Primera") of Dallas, Texas. JoAnn worked as a Mortgage Solutions Specialist with JP Morgan Chase for many years and at Iron Mountain, for several years, in the same field. JoAnn loved Purses, had too many, loved the Word Find Puzzle games, the "I Love Lucy Show," "Family Feud," and her beloved Dallas Mavericks. She was a math whiz. She loved giving her sisters gifts of clothing, purses, and lotions. She spoiled her nephew, Christopher Hernandez and niece, Marissa Landeros, always giving them gifts. JoAnn was a loving and giving person, who needed no special holiday to show her love to her family and friends.
JoAnn is survived by: Brothers, Pete Davila, David Hernandez and Moses Davila, Sisters, Lupe Hernandez and Rosa Davila, all of Dallas, Sister, Lisa Yeverino, and Brother-in-law, Gerardo Yeverino of Carrollton, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, including Christopher Hernandez of Dallas and Marissa Landeros of Aubrey, and numerous friends which friendship spanned more than 20 years.
