Jose Del Carmen Castillo Ricardez was born on June 1, 1976 to
Heriberta Ricardez Vasquez and Carlos Castillo Ricardez in
Mexico. He was raised in a loving home. In order to make a
better life for himself, he immigrated to the United States. In
the United States he took on the name Carlos after his father.
Over 25 years ago Carlos met a sweet girl. After a few dates
Tammy introduced him to her three children. Carlos loved and
adorned Tammy and her children. From the moment he met
his children he embraced them as his own. He raised them and
instilled lessons in them only a true father could. He taught his
sons how to drive; got them there first job and taught them
everything he knew about waterproofing and maintenance. He
had a heart of gold. He would save the day, time after time,
when his kids biological father would disappoint them. He was
a hero in the eyes of his daughter. Carlos in so many ways
saved his kids and brought happiness back into their lives. Life
just got sweeter when grandchildren arrived. He loved to take
his grandchildren to play outside to ride their bikes. He would
give everyone a nickname. He loved to cook breakfast for his
grandkids on days he didn't work and take them out to jump on
the trampoline.
Over the years of living and working in the United States he
gained many friends. If he worked with you or just met you
one day, he stole your heart. He always had a smile on his face
whether he was all work or at home. He would do anything to
see someone smile. He always told stories and loved to make
people laugh. He was a huge Cowboys fan and always cheered on
the Mexico National futbul team. Vacationing almost always
included water - he loved the beach and fishing.
Due to a tragic car accident, Carlos departed this world on
November 10, 2021 and joined his son Julio Vasquez in heaven.
