Juan Piña Zuñiga

Juan Luis Piña Zuñiga was born on May 18, 1982, in Mexico, alongside his twin brother, Noé Piña. His parents, Rufina Zuñiga and Luis Piña Rangel, raised Juan, Noé, and their three sisters in a warm and loving home filled with laughter, family traditions, and endless adventures. From an early age, Juan's radiant energy, sense of humor, and kindness made him a joy to be around.

In 1998, Juan and Noé took a bold step toward a bright future when they moved to the United States to complete high school. They attended Thomas Jefferson High School, where Juan's dedication and work ethic shone brightly. He studied diligently, graduated with honors, and set out to build a successful career.

Juan began his career with Jack in the Box in 2000 as a crew member. He quickly distinguished himself as a role model and leader among his peers. Over the years, Juan consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, which led to his promotion to management. On December 4, 2007, he was promoted to District Manager, where he successfully oversaw multiple locations. From that point forward, Juan continued to excel, showing unwavering dedication and perseverance in his role.

In 2023, Juan was honored with the prestigious Brand Award for Best District Manager, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the company. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Juan was deeply committed to charitable causes in the community, including Breast Cancer Awareness and No Kid Hungry. He worked tirelessly with his team to ensure the success of these fundraising efforts.

Juan lived his life authentically, with confidence and joy. His circle of friends was vast, and his presence was always the life of the party. He loved dancing, dressing sharply, and making every moment memorable. His love for music and travel took him to many wonderful places, with Hawaii being one of his favorite destinations.

Beyond his professional success and vibrant social life, Juan was deeply devoted to his family. He adored his nieces and nephews and played a crucial role in their lives, even teaching them all how to drive. Having lived with his sister for many years, he was more than just an uncle—he was a second father, always providing guidance, encouragement, and unconditional love. Although Juan did not have children of his own, he played an active and loving role in the lives of his niece and nephews, always making an effort to be present for both the big and small moments in their lives. He was an exemplary role model, both within his family and his community.

Juan had a deep fascination with the stars and constellations, often gazing at the night sky in awe. As a Taurus, he found joy in astrology and was known for his unwavering determination and strong spirit. He was also an avid reader, always immersed in books on motivation, management strategies, and, of course, the magical world of Harry Potter.

Thoughtful, selfless, and full of life, Juan Luis Piña Zuñiga left an unforgettable mark on everyone privileged to know him. His sudden passing on March 19, 2025, was heartbreaking, but his legacy of love, joy, and kindness will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends. Though he left too soon, Juan's spirit will continue to shine as brightly as the stars he loved so much.

Juan is survived by his parents, Rufina Zuñiga and Luis Piña Rangel; his twin brother, Noé Piña; his sisters, Emanuela Adriana Piña, María Concepción Piña, and Guadalupe Griselda Piña; and his husband and best friend, Rigoberto Dela Fuente.

Although his time in this world was shorter than anyone would have wished, **his impact was profound, his love knew no bounds, and his memory will be eternally cherished**. Juan Luis Piña Zuñiga nació el 18 de mayo de 1982 en México, junto a su hermano gemelo, Noé Piña. Sus padres, Rufina Zuñiga y Luis Piña Rangel, criaron a Juan, Noé y sus tres hermanas en un hogar cálido y amoroso, lleno de risas, tradiciones familiares y aventuras sin fin. Desde muy joven, la energía radiante de Juan, su sentido del humor y su amabilidad lo convirtieron en una persona especial para todos los que lo rodeaban.  

En 1998, Juan y Noé dieron un gran paso hacia un futuro brillante al mudarse a los Estados Unidos para terminar la preparatoria. Asistieron a la Preparatoria Thomas Jefferson, donde Juan se destacó por su dedicación y ética de trabajo. Estudió con esmero, se graduó con honores y comenzó a construir una carrera exitosa.  

Juan inició su trayectoria profesional en Jack in the Box en el año 2000 como miembro del equipo. Rápidamente se destacó como un modelo a seguir y un líder entre sus compañeros. Con el tiempo, su compromiso y habilidades de liderazgo lo llevaron a ser promovido a la gerencia. El 4 de diciembre de 2007, alcanzó el puesto de Gerente de Distrito, supervisando múltiples sucursales con gran éxito. A partir de ese momento, continuó sobresaliendo, demostrando una dedicación inquebrantable y una gran perseverancia en su labor.  

En 2023, Juan fue honrado con el prestigioso Premio Brand al Mejor Gerente de Distrito, un reconocimiento a sus contribuciones excepcionales a la empresa. Más allá de sus logros profesionales, Juan estaba profundamente comprometido con causas benéficas en la comunidad, incluyendo la Concientización sobre el Cáncer de Mama y No Kid Hungry. Trabajó incansablemente con su equipo para garantizar el éxito de estas iniciativas de recaudación de fondos.  

Juan vivió su vida de manera auténtica, con confianza y alegría. Su círculo de amigos era extenso, y su presencia siempre animaba cualquier reunión. Aunque no tuvo hijos propios, estuvo presente en cada momento importante y cotidiano de la vida de sus seres queridos, convirtiéndose en un ejemplo a seguir tanto dentro de su familia como en su comunidad.  

Juan tenía una profunda fascinación por las estrellas y las constelaciones, a menudo contemplando el cielo nocturno con asombro. Como buen Tauro, encontraba alegría en la astrología y era conocido por su determinación inquebrantable y su espíritu fuerte. También era un ávido lector, siempre inmerso en libros sobre motivación, estrategias de liderazgo y, por supuesto, el mundo mágico de Harry Potter.  

Atento, generoso y lleno de vida, Juan Luis Piña Zuñiga dejó una huella imborrable en todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Su repentino fallecimiento el 19 de marzo de 2025 fue devastador, pero su legado de amor, alegría y bondad perdurará para siempre en los corazones de su familia y amigos. Aunque se fue demasiado pronto, su espíritu seguirá brillando tan intensamente como las estrellas que tanto amaba.  

Juan deja atrás a sus padres, Rufina Zuñiga y Luis Piña Rangel; a su hermano gemelo, Noé Piña; a sus hermanas, Emanuela Adriana Piña, María Concepción Piña y Guadalupe Griselda Piña; y a su esposo y mejor amigo, Rigoberto Dela Fuente.  

Aunque su tiempo en este mundo fue más corto de lo que cualquiera hubiera deseado, su impacto fue profundo, su amor no tuvo límites y su memoria será eternamente atesorada. Su familia encuentra consuelo en saber que Juan vivió una vida plena y hermosa, disfrutando cada momento con alegría y pasión. Su luz nunca se apagará, pues seguirá brillando en los corazones de quienes lo amaron.
