Juanita Hernandez, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away after a hard-fought battle on December 11, 2020. Juanita was born in Mineola, Texas on July 11, 1939; she was one of eight siblings. Juanita is known for many things, but she is mostly defined by her love of family. She and her husband Pascual were soul mates and they loved to dance and spoil their grandkids. When not tending to family she could be found either gardening or doing one of her many crafts. Juanita enjoyed cooking for her husband and family. She was known for her tamales and enchiladas. Juanita loved the Lord and reading God's word.
Juanita is survived by her husband Jose Pascual Hernandez; her children Israel Perez and wife Raquel, Daniel Perez, Deborah DeLaTorre and her husband David, Benjamin Perez and his wife Julie, Elizabeth Lopez, her husband Candido, and Adam Perez and his wife Gloria; her brother Eugene Flores; her sister, Frances Martinez; 19 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; and and 1 great great grandchild. She joins in heaven her mother Concepcion Flores; her brothers Toribio, Domingo and Jose Flores; and her sisters Amadita Alvarado and Anastacia Escalona.
