Kandie Liddle Life Story

Kandie Kim Liddle, passed away on March 29, 2020. Kim was born on July 31, 1956 in Atchison, Kansas to Harold and Glenda Larrison. She later grew up in Soldier, KA and graduated from Jackson Heights High School.

Kim, or “Lil Kim” as she was called, was always full of life and didn’t know a stranger. She made the most of each day and enjoyed life to the fullest. Kim married her husband, Steven Liddle, on March 7, 1992 in Castaic, California. With her sweet personality, it is no surprise that she loved baking cakes and desserts. She loved being in the outdoors, especially camping at the beach with friends. She enjoyed sports and always cheered for her favorite teams, whether that was the Kansas City Royals, the Kansas City Chiefs, or the Kansas University basketball and football teams. Most of all, Kim loved being with her daughter, Kira, and her grand-dog, Lilly. Kim and Kira made so many memories as they went to concerts, spent time together, and cultivated a beautiful mother-daughter relationship.

Kim fought a long and difficult battle with heart failure. She received an LVAD in October 2019 and a heart transplant in January 2020. Despite the attempts to heal Kim, to the sorrow of her family on Sunday, March 29. 2020, Kim passed away at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas from multi-organ failure due to sepsis. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kandie Kim Liddle is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Glenda Larrison; her sister, Penny Hannon Larrison; and her brother, Kevin Larrison. Kim is survived her husband of 28 years, Steven F. Liddle; her daughter, Kira D. Gonzalez and her husband, Andrew; her sister, Debra Swindale, and her husband, Darryl; and many other family and friends.

Services for Kim will be held at a later date.
