Kelly Ann Garcia Moran

Kelly Garcia Moran, born on January 6, 1977, in Victoria, Texas, to RJ and Emita Garcia, passed away on April 24, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. Kelly was known for her incredible kindness, intelligence, and vibrant personality, which brought joy and light to everyone who knew her.

Kelly attended South Grand Prairie High School before joining her older sister Niki at Rice University, where her intelligence and love of learning shone brightly. Her zest for life was evident in her passions, which included traveling to numerous places around the world and especially enjoying summers on Port Aransas beach with her parents, her sister Niki, and Niki's children, Kyle and Lily Primeaux, along with friends she considered family. She loved boating, fishing, spending time with friends, and crafting personalized gifts, activities that brought her immense joy and countless cherished memories.

On July 25, 2015, Kelly married Chris Moran in a destination wedding on the beach in the Dominican Republic. Together, they shared a journey filled with love, laughter, and countless adventures.

A dedicated mentor, Kelly helped many women advance in their careers by offering guidance, support, and inspiration. Her commitment to empowering others left a lasting impact on many lives.

A Life Celebration in honor of Kelly Ann Garcia Moran will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Hughes Family Tribute Center. Kelly's bright spirit, boundless generosity, and loving heart will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
