Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Esquibel was born on April 3, 1957, in Dallas, TX to Nick and Francis Esquibel. Kenny was a graduate of Kimball High School. He started working at an early age at the Astro Drive. He later began his career at Republic Bank. While at Republic Bank he worked in the money vault with a radio and was always dancing around as he worked. This is when he met Debbie, his future wife, as she started her day, walked down the money vault and found him dancing around. They were married in August of 1981.Two years after that, they would start their family with their first born, Christopher, and their second born, Kimberly. Later, Kenny continued his career with Mercantile Bank, Chase Bank, where he became a manager managing the night shift, and finally moving on as a Branch Manager at Washington Federal Savings Bank. From there he took an early retirement at an early age. Kenny loved a good action movie, music, dancing, having parties, cooking, and playing slot machines. Most of all he loved his kids, Chris and Kim. He was always generous and willing to help out anybody he could. He was a dedicated worker, and kind-hearted. He always made sure everyone had a nice Christmas, especially for the kids, whether he made it or bought it. Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Frances Esquibel; his sister, Mary L Cleveland; his brothers, Tommy L. Esquibel and Jerry Esquibel; his nephew, Philip Martinez; and his niece, Little Frances Esquibel. Kenny will be remembered and celebrated by his children, Christopher and Kimberly Esquibel; his ex-wife Debbie Esquibel; his brothers, Pete, David and Freddy Esquibel; his sisters, Susie Esquibel, Patsy Gibson, and Juanita Grubbs; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. Kenny was loved by many: the Esquibel family, the Zuniga family, the Solis family, and many, many friends. On Monday May 31, 2021, God showed our beloved dad, brother, and uncle his mercy and brought him home. Kenny was greeted in heaven by his parents, Nick and Frances Esquibel, along with his all his loving family members. "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me" - Psalm 23:4
