Maria Altagracia (Castano) Caballero

Maria Altagracia Caballero, 86 of Dallas, Texas, passed away on September 10th, 2024 after a short battle of cancer.

Maria Altagracia was born on October 25th, 1937, to Manuel and Clemencia Castano Lara in Anahuac, Mexico. She was the eldest of 10 children. Maria Altagracia was predeceased by Jesus Castano (Vicki), brother; Enriqueta Herandez, sister; Dominga Serna, sister; Maria Dolores Galvan, Maria De los Santos Hernandez, Sister. Her living siblings and significant others are Manuel Castano (Alejandra Castano), Pedro L Castano (Rebecca Castano), Martin L Castano, Consuelo Tejeda (Jesus Tejeda).

Maria Altagracia is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jose M. Caballero; her two children, Alfredo Caballero and Maria C Caballero Rincon (Alex Vasquez); her four grandchildren, Esteban C Rincon, Jose A Rincon, Miguel G Rincon (Heaven Martinez) and Anthony Renee Underwood; and her great-grandchildren, Aria S Rincon and Benjamin J Rincon.

Services will be held at Hughes Family Center on the 15th and 16th from 5 to 8pm. The Rosary will be read on Sunday at 6:30 pm, visitation will be on Monday the 16th from 5 to 8pm. And grave side services on the 17th of September at Calvary Hill Cementary (3235 Lombardy Ln. Dallas at 2pm.
