Martina C. Valadez, was born on December 9, 1935, and passed away on April 6, 2022. She grew up in a small town called Selma near San Antonio, TX. And attended school at Alamo Heights. She worked at a small company that made small electrical plugs. And then she retired there started a new career as a coordinator/housekeeper for the Langdale's in the Highland Park area. We heard about Mark, Patty, Olivia and Paul daily. She loved her job and she loved the Langdale's like they were her own family. She LOVED dogs, gardening. She worked on her yard planting roses and flowers until her late 70's. And she made the BEST Tamales in town. Mom was a devoted Christian. She was proud to be an American and a big veteran's supporter, that she always had a flag hung outside of her front door. She loved to talk; I mean a whole lot!!! No one could get a word in period. And she would tell us stories and would talk to anyone where ever we went. She loved her kids and grandkids. She helps raise her last two grandkids until they started middle school. She was the kind of person that would give her shirt off her back to someone in need. She was there for you through thick and thin. She was a very independent, caring, selfless, and strong woman who raised (4) children alone as a single mother.
