Mary Louise Peña

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Louise Peña, a beloved mother and cherished presence in the lives of many. Born on June 9, 1941, Mary devoted her life to nurturing her family and sharing her love for gardening and the mountains. Her gentle spirit and affinity for the color pink illuminated her world and those around her.

Mary gracefully departed from this life on September 23, 2024, in Dallas, TX, surrounded by all who loved her. In honor of Mary's life, we invite friends and family to join us for a series of ceremonies to commemorate her memory. A visitation will be held at the Chapel on October 2, 2024, at 6:00 pm, followed by a funeral service on October 3, 2024, at 10:00 am. A family viewing will take place at the Chapel on the same day at 11:00 am, leading up to a graveside service at Calvary Hill Cemetery on October 3, 2024, at 12:00 pm.

As we gather to celebrate Mary's life, let us remember her fondly for the love and joy she shared with all who knew her. May her spirit live on in the hearts of those she touched, forever guiding us with her legacy of kindness and beauty.
