Melinda Kay Herrera

Melinda Herrera, 62, gained her wings on August 2, 2023.  She entered this world on March 25, 1961 in Dallas, TX to Jimmy Herrera, Sr. and Sheila Wilson Herrera. Melinda, was known for her compassion of others and most of all for the love she had for animals.  Melinda loved her 2 boys Anthony and Ariel, her grandchildren, family and friends. She cherished the memories she would make with everyone.  Melinda loved swimming, taking care of animals, and she especially loved music and dancing. Melinda truly missed her son, Anthony, sister, Roxanne, dad, Jimmy and brother Chio, Jimmy Jr.  She missed them every day.  Her family was everything to Melinda, I truly believe that she died of a broken heart. 

Melinda is survived by her son, Ariel Granado, her grandchildren; Bryanna, Nathan, Serena, Francisco, David, Nicholas, Chloe, and Jade; and great-grandchild, Aylana.  Aunt, cousins, many nieces and nephews. She joins in heaven, her parents Jimmy Herrera, Sr. and Sheila Wilson Herrera, her sister Roxanne Herrera, her brother Jimmy Herrera Jr. (Chio), and her beloved son Paul Anthony Herrera. 

Although Melinda will be dearly missed, the family takes great comfort knowing she has been reunited with her, dad, mom, sister, brother and son.
