Norman Jose Sipiran, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. Norman Sipiran was born in Peru within an ocean port on Friday, September 18, 1936 to his parents, Nicolas Siprian and Emilia Falconi. Norman had many passions in life, but his family was first and foremost the most important thing in his life. Norman went by many names in his family including “Grandpa,” “Papi,” “Grandpa Norman,” and “Pa.” He loved being a father, grandfather and great grandfather. With his family, he loved to take road trips, especially to the beach. Some of his favorite beaches to go to were in South Padre Island, Texas and Cancun, Mexico. Norman was known for taking and wearing a captain hat when traveling around. Some other ways Norman made memories with his family were by dancing. His favorite dances were Salsa, Merengue, and the Peruvian Waltz. When he wasn’t traveling and making memories with his family, Norman liked to stay busy. He was an auto mechanic and knew how to fix many auto problems. His favorite cars were Chevrolets. Along with keeping cars in top shape, Norman liked to keep his yard and garden looking beautiful as well. He liked to plant Dwarf Cavendish Banana trees and flowers. Not only would he tend to his yard, but he also helped his children make their yards beautiful as well. Norman loved the ocean, so it is no surprise that his favorite food was seafood including delicious ceviche. He also liked to eat Peruvian style porkchops with eggs—with his cup of coffee of course. Norman also liked watching various sports. His favorite teams to cheer for were the Dallas Cowboys and the Peruvian National Soccer Team. Although he cheered on these special teams, Norman was his families’ biggest fan.
Norman leaves behind his loving wife, Leonidas Spirian; children Mayuli, Dennis, Bianca and Randy Spirian; grandchildren; great grandchildren and many friends.
His love, his smile, and his friendly personality will be missed and remembered by those who knew and loved him.
