Olga Pena
11/1/1948 – 1/30/26
Olga Pena, 77, of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026. She was born in Lubbock, Texas on November 1,1948 to Raul & Natividad Pena. She was raised in Raymondville, TX and moved to Dallas to attend college at TWU, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree. She retired from Fort Worth ISD after 28 years as a Migrant Recruiter-Liason. She loved her job, especially all the families she met along the way, some that became lifelong friends. Olga loved reading, knitting, crocheting, traveling and was always up for an adventure with her best friend, Eva. She loved trying out new restaurants, bakeries or visiting any new spot that opened up. When she sat down to talk to you, she always asked what you had been up to and was truly interested in all that you had to say. She will be missed by all. We find comfort in knowing that her bestie, Eva was waiting to welcome her with a song and can only imagine all the new adventures they will have.
Olga is survived by her sisters, Mary (Jesse) Romero of Dallas, TX, Liz (Eme) Franco, Delia (Toribio) Valdez, Martha (Freddy) Montemayor and Debbie Canchola of Lubbock, Texas and brother, George Pena of Odessa, TX as well as many nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, great grandmother, brothers, Raul Pena Jr and Oscar Pena.
A private service will be held by her family at a later date.
