Paul Cabello, Jr.

Paul Cabello, a car enthusiast, talented artist, loving father and beloved brother and son, passed away on April 21, 2023, at the age of 59 in Dallas, Texas. Paul was born on June 28, 1963, in Dallas to his parents, Paul Cabello, Sr., and Gloria Jo Garcia Cabello. Paul was a proud and devoted father to his son Julian Cabello.

Paul graduated from North Dallas High School and was a gifted mechanic, which he put to good use in his passion for cars. He could fix anything and rebuilding cars to a pristine condition was a passion. His dream was to rebuild a 1963 Corvette with a split rear window. Paul's passion for racing was ignited at a young age, and he became a fan of all cars, particularly hot rods and muscle cars. He was a devoted follower of NASCAR and drag racing and admired racers such as Dale Earhart and Jeff Gordon and anyone that was beating Denny Hamlin.

In addition to his love for cars, Paul had a great talent for drawing. He was also a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed spending time with his many friends and family, who all loved his fun and outgoing personality. Paul had quite a sweet tooth. He was addicted to marshmallows at one point and enjoyed popsicles, bubble gum, and Coca-Cola. He also appreciated good music, particularly Chicago and Karen Carpenter.

He joins his mother, Gloria Jo Garcia Cabello in heaven. He leaves behind his son Julian Cabello; father Paul Cabello, Sr.; and siblings Frank Cabello and his wife Mary, Julia Ann Alverez and her husband Alfonso and Raymond Cabello; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Paul Cabello will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His love for cars, sweets, and his fun-loving personality will always be remembered.
