Pedro Salas Luera, Jr., beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. Pedro was born on November 14, 1970 in Dallas, Texas to his parents, Frances and Pedro Salas Luera, Sr., and was one of 9 children in the Luera household. Pedro grew up in Dallas and graduated from Adamson High School. Like any true Dallasite, he was a faithful fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He liked dancing and cookouts as well as draw. He was very creative and artistic. Along with his passion for drawing, Pedro was just starting to learn to paint. When he wasn't following his passions, he worked as a self-contractor who remodeled homes. He worked to provide for his wife of 18 years, Gregoria Luera, and their family. Pedro Salas Luera, Jr. could light up a room with his smile and his laugh. His love, his spirit, and his smile will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him.
Pedro Salas Luera, Jr. is survived by his wife, Gregoria Luera; his son, Philip Jordan; his daughters, Sierra Luera and Adrianna Luera; his grandson, Brayden Jordan; his granddaughter, Kingsly Jordan; his mother, Frances Luera; his sisters, Esther and her husband, Jesus Piña, Mary Varela, Gloria Ramirez, Margaret Ronulado, and Betty and her husband, Jose Morales; his brothers, David Luera and Fernando Luera and his wife, Elvia; his 24 nieces and nephews; and his 51 great-nieces and -nephews. Pedro Salas Luera, Jr. is preceded in death by his father, Pedro Salas Luera, Sr. and his brother Phillip Luera.
