In Loving Memory of Prem Patel
2006 – 2025
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Prem Patel, who left us far too soon at the age of 18. Prem's life, though brief, touched the hearts of many.
Prem was a bright, thoughtful, and deeply compassionate young man. Born gifted and talented had a niche for electronics, cars and computers. Known for his sharp wit, creative spirit, and kind soul, Prem had a unique way of making others feel seen and understood. He had dreams that stretched far into the future, and a heart that reached even farther. Prem was two weeks away from graduation, a senior at Timbercreek High School. He was highly dedicated to the Robotics Club and he inspired many around him.
He was a cherished friend, a beloved son, admired grandchildand a source of light to those who had the privilege of knowing him. Prem's absence leaves an unfillable void, but his memory will live on in the stories we tell, the laughter we shared, and the love he gave so freely.
We remember Prem not by the tragedy of his passing, but by the depth of his spirit, the brilliance of his mind, and the warmth of his heart. May he rest in peace.
Prem is survived by his loving family mother Aekta, father Krunal, grandmother Jyostnaben, grandfather Mahendrabhai, aunt Dipti, uncle Dharmesh and many dear friends who will forever carry his memory forward.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to SAMHIN.org South Asian Mental Health Initiative and Network in Prem’s name, to break the silence of struggles ofmental health in the South Asian community.
