A Life Remembered, A Legacy Honored
At Hughes Family Tribute Center, we believe every life tells a story-each one unique, meaningful, and worthy of remembrance. Today, we gather in loving memory of Rajalaxmi Routray who passed away on July 8, 2025 whose presence brought light, warmth, and kindness to all who knew them.
Born on February 7, 1979, Rajalaxmi lived a life defined by her unwavering compassion, dedication to family and friends, and a spirit that touched every soul fortunate enough to cross her path. Whether through small acts of kindness or grand gestures of love, Rajalaxmi left an indelible mark on the world. Rajalaxmi was holding Master Degree in Computer Science from Utkal University.
She was more than a daughter, sister, wife, mother, or friend-she was a light in every room, a steady hand in difficult times, and a gentle soul in a world that often forgets how to be kind.
As a wife, she stood by her husband's ( Niranjan Prusty ) side-not just as a partner, but as his best friend, his peace, his world. The love they shared was real and strong, the kind that is built slowly and cherished daily.
And as a mother-she was everything. Her only son ( Divyesh Prusty - 15 years ) was the light of her life. She gave her all: her time, her care, her guidance, and her unconditional love. She nurtured with patience, taught with compassion, and protected with fierce devotion.
She was a woman of both intellect and warmth. A skilled IT professional, she built her career with dedication, curiosity, and a deep sense of integrity. She navigated the fast-changing world of technology with confidence and grace-always learning, always solving, always helping others grow. In her work, she was respected. In her heart, she remained grounded.
But beyond her professional life, she was something even more rare-a soul who truly understood the value of time. And she gave that time freely, generously, and lovingly. She cherished long talks with friends, laughter around the table, and quiet evenings with a good book. She believed in the simple joys of life-cup of tea in hand, a child's smile, a shared memory, a peaceful moment.
As we say goodbye, we also celebrate a life well-lived-one filled with laughter, love, and cherished moments that will live on in our hearts forever. Though she may no longer walk among us, the memories we hold and the lessons her taught us remain.
Let us honor Rajalaxmi's legacy not just in words, but in the way we continue to live-with grace, compassion, and love.
Omm Shanti
