Ramon Salinas

Mr. Ramon G. Salinas, Jr., age 85, joined his beloved wife, Zulema Flores Salinas, in heaven on April 6, 2018.

Ramon was born in Dallas, TX to Ramon Salinas and Maria G. Salinas on Friday, November 25, 1932. Ramon joined the United States Air Force in 1952, where he served as an Airframe Repair Specialist. He was honorably discharged in 1956, having received the National Defense Service Medal. He later would go on to work as a Machinist Engineer for Texas Instruments.

He is survived by daughters, Yolanda R. Maldonado, and Felicia A. Kallas and her husband, Ray; his sons, Mark Anthony Salinas and his wife, Lucy, and Raymond Alexander Salinas, III; his grandchildren, Kelli Donaldson, Shanna Romanillos, Michael Maldonado, Mark Alexander Salinas, Issac Ray Salinas, and Mia D. Salinas; and his great-grandchildren, Nicolas Hendricks and Rafael Romanillos.


He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Zulema Flores Salinas; his parents, Ramon Salinas, Sr and Maria G. Salinas; and his brothers, Joe Salinas, Tony Salinas and Jesse Salinas.

Public Viewing will be held Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hughes Family Tribute Center. The Rosary will be recited in his honor at 6:30 PM.

Services for Mr. Ramon Salinas will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at 10:00 AM at St. Monica Catholic Church with Fr. Inigio Lopez officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park at 11:00 AM in Dallas, Texas.
