Rebecca Gutierrez

Rebecca Gutierrez (Ruiz), known affectionately to family and friends as Becky, passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 71. She was born in Dallas, Texas on September 8, 1951, to her parents, Marcelino and Guadalupe Ruiz. She lived a full and happy life, and her presence will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

Becky was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was the heart and soul of her family, always putting others before herself and making sure that everyone felt loved and cared for. She had a special bond with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she cherished every moment she spent with them.

Becky had many interests, including her love for the Dallas Cowboys, Motown Music, The Beatles, Buccees, the Texas State Fair, Turner Classic Movies, and Pina Coladas. She was known for her infectious laughter, warm smile, and kind heart. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved, and she had a gift for bringing people together.

Becky was married to her beloved husband, Emilio Gutierrez, for over 50 years, before his death a few years ago. They had a strong and enduring love that served as an inspiration to everyone who knew them. They were inseparable and lived their lives with joy and happiness, always putting their family first.

Becky was a devout Catholic and lived her life with faith and grace. She was a kind and generous person who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She was a role model for her family and friends and had a positive impact on everyone she met.

Becky's passing leaves a void in the hearts of her family and friends, but her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched. She was a true gift to those who knew her, and her legacy of love, kindness, and faith will continue to inspire others for generations to come.

Those who will be missing her on Earth include her children, Stephanie Hargrove and husband Aaron, Marcy Joe and husband Brandon, and Erik Gutierrez and wife Brenda; her grandchildren, James, Desirae, Lucio, Samantha, Erika, Nadia, and Jessie; her great grandchildren, Liam and Nicholas; her brother, Michael Ruiz; and her sister, Martha Almendarez.

Becky will be joining in Heaven her parents; her beloved husband; her sister, Rachel Ruiz; and her brother, Randolph Ruiz.
