Rebecca Torres Vargas

Rebecca Torres Vargas “Becky” was born in Dallas, Tx on November 2, 1952. Becky was born to her Father Jesus and Mother Gloria Torres. Becky attended Crozier Technical High School In Dallas, Tx where she was a cheerleader and met football player Henry Vargas and he soon became her high school sweetheart. Henry and Becky Married on October 23, 1971. She was a loving Mother to Benjamin Vargas and Samuel Vargas and loved being a the God-Mother of Juanita Bermudez. She was a Loving Grandmother to Victoria Vargas and Sammy Vargas; They were her world and her passion and her joy. 

Becky was all about giving and helping when she could. She was a beautiful person with a beautiful soul. She always put others before herself and did anything she could for her family. She had a smile that could light up a room and a little giggle when she laughed. 

She loved beach views at sunsets and waking up with a cup of coffee listening to the seagulls and the crashing waves of the ocean. She also loved watching The Cowboys play and commenting and uplifting the family on Facebook. 

Becky passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday October 10, 2021 just shy of her 50th wedding Anniversary. She will be missed by many as she was loved by many. She will always be remembered for her nurturing, loving and giving spirit. 

Becky was preceded in death by her Mother Gloria Torres, Father Jesus Torres, son Michael Anthony Vargas, sister Margaret Rubalcado, Teresa Torres, and Brother Arthur Torres. 

We love you Mom! It will never be the same without you however we will always hold you in our hearts until we meet again.
