Robert Sosa

Robert Sosa (Bobby) was born on November 30, 1956. Bobby was born in Harlingen, Tx. To Hilario Sosa and Loida Contreras Sosa. He was the biggest baby of 6, weighing 10 lbs. He is survived by his mother, Loida Sosa, 3 brothers Pete Sosa, Larry Sosa and Danny Sosa and 2 sisters Liz Woodley and Maria Sosa who he loving referred to as Mija. In addition, Bobby had 13 Nieces and nephews and 23 great nieces and nephews and 4 great, great nieces and nephews.

Bobby moved to Texas in 2004 and his only reason was to be close to the Dallas Cowboys. He was a die-hard Cowboy Fan. He loved them when they won and hated them when they lost. We all felt his wrath. He specifically moved to Irving to be close to Texas Stadium. He was reluctant to move to Texas because his heart was really in California. Bobby loved his family and loved spending time with his siblings.

Bobby was a talented Certified welder for many years and loved his occupation. Bobby was full of charisma that charmed everyone. He loved 70's music, he loved Old country George Stre he loved the Beatles, the Rolling Stones in fact, he along with his brother Pete and his cousins, Rick and Danny created their own version of Fab 4. Bobby had a great sense of humor, a vibrant energy that always lit up a room as soon as he entered it. He was very competitive and loved to be challenged. He was a great storyteller, loved the comedy show, Seinfeld and always had one liners from this show.

Bobby was so very loved by his Family and left us with so many good memories. These are the times all of us will cherish and forever hold in our hearts.
