Rosemary Snyder

God welcomed Rosemary Snyder (nee Siems), age 85, home on October 27, 2023. She has been reunited with her husband, Michael; brothers and sisters Wert Siems, David Siems (Pat), Suzie Porter (Mick), and Ruth Siems. She is survived by her daughters Barbara Pretkelis (Wally) and Kimberly Carlson (Brett) and five grandchildren: Neil, Ren, and Alexa Pretkelis; Cam and Sara Carlson whom she adored. Born in Evansville, Indiana to Werner and Ruth Siems. She attended the University of Cincinnati and became a graphic designer. After marrying Mike, they moved to the suburbs of Chicago to raise their family. They were blessed with many good friends and a strong fellowship with the Trinity Lutheran congregation in Roselle. She made banners bearing the names of the confirmed for many years giving each its own creative touch. She had a gentle spirit, surprising sense of humor, and a generous heart. Rosemary is deeply missed. Instead of a service, her family is planning to celebrate the lives of their parents privately in the near future.
