Susanna Plomarity Life Story

Susie Cazamias Plomarity, left our earthly embrace and entered the arms of our Heavenly Father on July 11, 2025. She left this phase of life as she lived it, holding the hand of the love of her life, Milton Plomarity, her husband of 58 years.
Susie was born on April 3, 1943, to Ulysses and Pepitsa Cazamias. She was raised in San Antonio Texas with her brother and sister. Graduating from Jefferson High School in 1961, she earned her bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology from Southwest Texas University. On August 4, 1967, Susie married her dearest Milton at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church in San Antonio. The wedding was memorialized in the San Antonio HemisFair in 1968, which celebrated the 250th anniversary of the founding of San Antonio. Susie worked as a speech therapist until she became a mother, dedicating her life to her family, always putting them above all else. Whether supporting her children's school activities, sporting or scouting events, she enjoyed being the proudest, albeit quietest mother there.
Joyously waiting to greet her at Heaven's Gate, were her parents and two daughters, Patricia Plomarity and Georgia Plomarity Zaemes, as well as James Ulysses Cazamias. Remaining behind to rejoice in the joy of her love are her husband Milton, her son George and his partner Lauren Ortosky, her dearest grandsons Theo Zaemes and Leonidis Plomarity, her son-in-law, Bill Zaemes, her sister Callie Cazamias O'Connor and husband Eddie, sisters-in-law Thalia Plomarity, Frances Papajohn and Mildred Boozalis, as well as Chrisa Cazamiasm along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church,13555 Hillcrest Road Dallas TX 75240, with visitation at 10:00 am, followed by a Trisagion service at 10:30 am. The Trisagion service will be immediately followed by the funeral service. Following a procession to the burial site at Restland Cemetery the family will host a Makaria luncheon at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Susie's memory to the Cooley's Anemia Foundation or the Holy Trinity Catechetical School.
Our Dearest Susie, although we will miss your earthly presence dearly, you will continue to live in each of our hearts, as we rejoice in the love you have left with us.
