William McKee Life Story

On Monday, September 7, 2020, William "Bill" Northrup McKee, a longtime resident of Dallas, Texas, passed away at age of 66.
Billy was born in Troy, New York on January 30, 1954 and was a native of Syracuse, New York. He relocated to Dallas, Texas in 1980 where he made his home and established a successful construction business, W. McKee & Associates, Inc. His work ethic was beyond reproach and he stood behind it 100%. On November 26, 2007, he married Alice Marie Geraci Keidel. They had no children.
Billy was funny, witty, kind, always had a joke to tell, stood by his family and friends no matter what. He loved the holidays, birthdays, and the dogs, who were his "kids". He was generous and trusting to a fault. He was invited to participate on the US Olympic Ski team in 1974, was a certified ski instructor, a certified dive instructor and lived life "his way". His nick name was "Magoo".
He was also an accomplished golfer and avid hunter with an awe-inspiring trophy room.
He cultivated many friendships along the way. He made sure to keep in touch with everyone to keep those friendships alive.
Billy was preceded in death by his father, William G. McKee, and his mother Arlene Northrup McKee and his brother-in-law, Edward "Ned" Schepp.
He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Alice "Ali" McKee, two sisters, Judy Schepp and Sue Kessler and her husband Bob, as well as several nieces and nephews along with many life-long friends.
He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
