Carmelita (Contreras) Renteria

Carmelita Renteria went to spend Christmas in heaven on December 23, 2017. Carmelita was a selfless woman who raised her children and her grandchildren. She lived life to the fullest with no regrets. Carmelita has a huge heart and would never "deny anyone a place to rest their head." Her family oftentimes found complete strangers in her home enjoying her hospitality of a good meal and a clean place to rest their head.

Carmelita leaves behind her loving husband of 30 years Juan Renteria; her children Stephanie Garcia, Justin Melendez and his wife Maria Rizo, and Mel Melendez; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

Carmelita will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
